Project Overview

aims to develop an efficient and user-friendly online ticketing system for visitors to the iconic Dharahara tower. This Terms of Reference outlines the requirements for the development and implementation of the system.

Key Features

Ticket Purchase Limits: A maximum of 4 tickets can be purchased at a time per transaction.

Date and Time Slots: Ticket time slots available are: 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 2:30 PM, 3:30 PM

Quotas and Availability: Display the number of available tickets for each selected date/time.

Age Group and Gender Data: Collection of demographic data during the ticket purchase/holding process.

Public Access to Tickets: Online purchases/holding will be available for up to 7 days in advance. No ticket purchases/holding will be allowed for Wednesdays as the Dharahara will be closed on that day.

Barcode Generation: After filling in the required information, the system will generate a unique barcode for each ticket, which will be scanned at the entry point.

Re-selling/Re-holding Mechanism: If a ticket is not scanned 15 minutes before the scheduled entry time, tickets will become available again for online purchase/holding for that time slot.
